Packaging solutions for the beverage industry
The concept of environmental protection has become increasingly popular in the world in the past two years, and the concept of environmental protection and low-carbon has increasingly become a new concept of fashion consumption. The new concept of "fashion" consumption will cause sustainable packaging products to occupy a large area of consumers' mental resources. In the beverage market, aluminum cans, PET and glass bottles are the most commonly used main packaging solutions, and the development of paper bottles in recent years has also provided packaging solutions for the beverage industry.
Aluminum can
The unlimited recyclability of aluminum cans makes it a sustainable solution for beverage packaging and the most recycled beverage packaging in the world.

Compared with plastic packaging materials, aluminum can packaging materials have distinct advantages, high recovery rate, fast recycling, and good quality maintenance during the recycling process. This infinite recycling and environmentally friendly recycling have obvious advantages, which are in line with the current sustainable development of society. Different from plastic packaging, aluminum cans are waterproof and breathable, can prevent the beverage from being exposed to sunlight, keep it cool for a longer time, and most importantly, can maintain the fresh taste. In addition, the aluminum cans have a special metallic luster, which can make the appearance of the products brighter and more individual.

PET
PET is also the most commonly used packaging material in beverage and rigid food packaging. PET packaging is becoming more and more lightweight and durable, so it can effectively transport products without the need for secondary packaging, thereby greatly reducing fuel requirements and greenhouse gas emissions during product transportation.

In the UK, about 72% of beverage packaging, up to 92% of bottled water, choose PET materials; in sports and energy drinks, this proportion is 67%. Large soft drink companies have set targets to ensure that all packaging can be 100% recycled by 2025. The goal of many companies is to increase the proportion of recycling, from 25% in 2020 to 50% in 2025.
Glass bottle
The glass packaging market also links beverage manufacturers to their sustainable packaging goals.
In recent years, the concept of paper bottles seems to emerge in endlessly, and innovation continues to break through the barriers to the pursuit of sustainable development of packaging. This kind of packaging has the benefits of sustainable development and ideally matches recycling and reuse.
The latest research report shows that in 2020, the value of paper bottles is 25.2 million U.S. dollars, and the usage in other categories such as food, wine and spirits will continue to increase. It is expected that the compound annual growth rate in the next 10 years will stabilize at more than 6%. .
